    • 30 Days Prior: Discontinue Retinol/Retina-A and exfoliating acids around the brow area.

    • 2 Weeks Prior: Discontinue antibiotics. Avoid electrolysis, tweezing, threading, waxing, tinting, and laminating the brow area. Also, avoid tanning or having sunburned facial skin.

    • 72 Hours Prior: Avoid blood thinners (e.g. Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, black pepper, cayenne pepper, mustard, garlic, horseradish, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, chili powder), wine and alcohol, caffeine (e.g. coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks), and activities that cause excessive sweating.

Failure to follow said instructions may negatively impact your results.

    Aftercare Instructions

Please adhere to the following guidelines immediately after your initial and touch-up sessions:

    • For the first hour post-treatment, gently blot your brows with clean, lint-free tissue to remove lymph. If the oozing dries on your brows, large scabs may form, leading to excessive peeling and flaking.

    • A few hours post-treatment, clean your brows using only the products from your aftercare kit:

      • Wash your hands thoroughly.

      • Gently wipe your brows with a sterile water wipe, following the direction of your brow hair, to remove excess oil, oozing, etc.

      • Do not rinse.

      • Pat dry with clean, lint-free tissue or a paper towel.

      • Using your finger or an applicator stick, apply a rice grain-sized amount of healing balm to cover BOTH brows (not a separate amount for each brow).

      • Repeat this process in the AM/PM for 10 days

    • Keep your brows dry for 10 days, except when gently cleaning them outside of the shower or bath. Avoid sweating, saunas, swimming pools, hot tubs, and any other activities that expose them to moisture.

    • Avoid touching the treated area. Do not pick, peel, or pull on any scabs, whether they are flaking or not. Let them heal naturally. If you scratch or pick at your scabs, the ink may be pulled out resulting in sparse areas with missing pigment in your brows.

    • Avoid sleeping on your face until your brows have fully shed.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure for six weeks following your appointment. If you need to be outdoors, it’s highly recommended to wear a hat or sun visor.

    • Avoid makeup and skincare products on or near the treated area, especially for the first 10 days. Afterward, steer clear of products with active ingredients, such as acne treatments or anti-aging products, as they can cause your brows to fade prematurely.

    • Avoid facial injections, facials, chemical or laser peels until you’ve fully healed from your six-week touch-up appointment.

    • Avoid smoking as this can cause your brows to fade prematurely.

    • Protect your healed brows by applying sunscreen daily to preserve their color and longevity. Try to prevent faded pigment with these helpful tips:

      • Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 and up containing zinc oxide

      • Always wear SPF on your healed permanent makeup

      • Use about an ounce for a full application

      • Reapply throughout the day

      • Allow 15 minutes for sunscreen absorption before going outside

    • To maintain the clean, defined shape of your brows, remove any unwanted hairs outside of your brow design. You can use the razor provided in your aftercare kit or choose to tweeze, thread, or wax as needed. This will keep your brows looking their best and freshly groomed.

Failure to follow said instructions may negatively impact your results.

    Additional Information

Aftercare instructions will be discussed during your visit and also emailed to you for your convenience.

    What to Expect

Immediately after the procedure, your eyebrows may appear more vibrant and bold than the final healed result. You may experience redness, swelling, tenderness, and tingling, which should subside quickly. In the first phase of healing, you may notice itching and dryness as scabs shed. During this time, your eyebrows may enter the 'ghost phase,' where the color temporarily fades or disappears. After following the ten-day aftercare instructions, you may return to your normal routine. In the second phase of healing, your brows may continue to change in color and intensity. By the sixth week, your true healed results will emerge, and you may schedule your Session II (Touch-Up).

    What to Expect

After your brow lamination, you can expect instantly fuller, more defined brows with a sleek, uniform look. Your brows may feel soft and fluffy initially but will set and hold their shape within 24 hours. Some slight redness or sensitivity around the brow area is normal and should subside within a few hours. With proper aftercare, your laminated brows will stay in shape for 6-8 weeks, requiring minimal effort to maintain. Results may vary depending on your hair type, with coarser brows seeing more dramatic effects. Regular touch-ups will keep your brows looking fresh and flawless.
