Session II is a crucial touch-up recommended six weeks after your initial treatment.
To achieve optimal healed results, we strongly encourage you to return for this appointment. Your brow artist will refine density, pigment color, shape, hair strokes, and address any patchy areas.
Remember, healing varies by individual, and results may differ.
Please pre-book this service during your initial appointment.
-
Initially, the color will appear more vibrant and bold than the final healed results. You may experience moderate swelling, redness, and tingling immediately after the procedure, which will subside. Over the next few days, itching and dryness may occur as scabs shed and flake. Following a ten-day aftercare regimen is crucial for optimal healing.
Within 7-10 days, the color may fade by up to 30%, resulting in a softer, more natural appearance. The pigments used are semi-permanent and will gradually fade over time. A touch-up is recommended six weeks after your initial appointment (not before or after). By the sixth week of healing, the true color of your brows will emerge.
-
Pain tolerance and sensitivity vary by individual.
Clients often describe the sensation during the procedure as similar to eyebrow threading or multiple hairs being tweezed at once, with some experiencing a light scratching feeling. Many clients even fall asleep during their appointment.
To maximize comfort, a topical anesthetic containing 4% Lidocaine will be applied to the treated area.
Please note that your sensitivity may be heightened during or near the beginning of your menstrual cycle.
-
Temporary side effects of permanent cosmetics may include swelling, redness, itching, dryness, tenderness, and bruising. Infection is a risk if aftercare is not followed properly. If you notice signs of infection, such as persistent swelling, redness, fever, or oozing, please contact your healthcare provider immediately.
-
Results from cosmetic procedures cannot be guaranteed. Permanent makeup is a subjective art form, and achieving optimal results may require multiple sessions, regardless of the artist's expertise. Adhering to all pre-care and aftercare instructions and attending maintenance sessions are crucial for achieving your desired outcome.
-
Permanent makeup is not to replace makeup applications.
In fact, permanent makeup is expected to lighten and fade over time. It shortens your makeup routine and acts as a brow guideline or stencil in which you may darken your results with makeup as desired.
Because pigment is applied to the layers of skin that shed over time, you and your brow artist have the flexibility to adjust shaping as you age and beauty trends change.
-
Any hairs outside the mapped brow design will be removed with your approval of the shape.
Your artist will work to preserve as much of your natural brow hair as possible.
Please note that any removed hairs will eventually grow back, and it will be your responsibility to groom and maintain the appearance of your new brows.
-
Absolutely! Wearing sunscreen is highly recommended to protect your skin and brows from UVA and UVB rays.
To help prevent faded pigment, follow these tips:
Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 and up containing zinc oxide
Always wear SPF on your HEALED permanent makeup
Use about an ounce for a full application
Reapply throughout the day
Allow 15 minutes for sunscreen absorption before going outside
