    • Your brow artist selects the best pigment color for you (Patch testing is available upon request)

  • Session II is an essential touch-up appointment six weeks after your initial treatment.

To ensure your best-healed results, we highly recommend you come back for a second visit to allow your brow artist to refine your brow density, pigment color, shape, hair strokes, and/or any patchy areas you may have.

Please keep in mind that every client heals differently and results vary from person to person.

Pre-book this service during your initial appointment.

  • Initially, the color will appear much more vibrant and/or bolder compared to your final healed results. You may experience moderate swelling, redness, and/or tingling immediately after the procedure, which will subside. Over the next few days, you may experience itching and dryness as scabs begin to shed and flake. Hence, ten-day aftercare is a major key in how the brows will begin to heal. Within 7-10 days the color will fade by up to 30 percent, appearing to be softer and more natural-looking. Pigments used are semi-permanent and will fade over time, in which you will need a touch-up six weeks after your initial appointment (no earlier or later). The sixth week of healing is when the true color of your brows should surface.

  • Pain tolerance and sensitivity vary from person to person.

Clients often relate either procedure to that of eyebrow threading, tweezing multiple hairs at once, or a light scratching of the skin. Many clients also fall asleep during their appointment. To provide as much comfort as possible during the service, a topical anesthetic with 4% Lidocaine will be applied to the treated area.

Please note that your sensitivity may be heightened during or near the beginning of your menstrual cycle.

  • Yes, of course! A thin-bladed hand tool is used to manually create crisp, hair-like strokes while a handheld machine is used to lightly shade the entire brow for an everyday filled-in look. Microshading simply appears more natural and realistic. When compared to the results of microblading on its own, the results of the Microshading technique are almost always preferred by clients.

  • Any hairs that lay outside of the mapped brow design will be removed upon your approval of the brow shape.

Your artist will incorporate as much of your natural brow hair as possible.

Please expect any removed hairs to eventually grow back, and it is your responsibility to groom and maintain the look of your new brows.

  • Permanent makeup is not to replace makeup applications.

In fact, permanent makeup is expected to lighten and fade over time. It shortens your makeup routine and acts as a brow guideline or stencil in which you may darken your results with makeup as desired.

Because pigment is applied to the layers of skin that shed over time, you and your brow artist have the flexibility to adjust shaping as you age and beauty trends change.

  • Absolutely! We highly recommend you wear sunscreen to protect your skin and brows from UVA and UVB rays. Try to prevent faded pigment with these helpful tips:

    • Use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 and up containing zinc oxide

    • Always wear SPF on your HEALED permanent makeup

    • Use about an ounce for a full application

    • Reapply throughout the day

    • Allow 15 minutes for sunscreen absorption before going outside

  • Temporary side effects from permanent cosmetics include but are not limited to swelling, redness, itching, dryness, tenderness, and bruising. Infection is possible if aftercare is not performed properly and cautiously. If you experience symptoms of infection, such as persistent increased swelling, redness, fever, or oozing, please contact your healthcare doctor immediately.

  • Results from cosmetic procedures are not guaranteed.

Permanent makeup is an art, which we know as subjective. It can take multiple sessions to achieve your best results, regardless of your artist’s skills. It is important that you follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions as well as return for your maintenance sessions in order to achieve your most desired results.
